You should become a Manual Handling Instructor if you are interested in a career change. Manual Handling training is currently in high demand across the country, providing endless opportunities for QQI Qualified Manual Handling Instructors across the Health and Safety Industry.
Here at National Training Solutions, we always aim to suit our customers’ needs. Our Manual Handling Inspector course takes place both in class and online, so you will always have an option!
Virtually or in class, our course is split into 5 separate modules. These modules will take place over the 5 days of this course. The modules are the following:
Module 1. Legislation, Regulation & Ergonomics.
Module 2 Anatomy, Physiology, Fitness & Flexibility.
Module 3 Manual Handling Risk Assessment, Trainer Skills.
Module 4 Practical Lifting, Manual Handling & Exam Preparation.
Module 5 Written & Practical Examinations.
The only case in which you will need a ‘Train the Trainer’ qualification is if you have no teaching experience whatsoever!
Yes! On the final day of the course, you will have to sit an assessment. This assessment will be given by the instructor. We encourage our customers not to feel nervous about this assessment as they will have received amazing training in the days leading up to it. Thanks to our amazing team, we currently have a 98% pass rate.
